• A few helpful tips if you’re feeling lost about what to wear •
01. Bring some options!
I absolutely love styling outfits, so I’ll pick and pull from the options you bring with you to make sure that each outfit is complementing the location we’re at. We don’t want anything to distract from you, and yes, sometimes your outfits can be a distraction. All you gotta do is pack some of your favorite, most-loved clothes and we can choose together at the locations.
Try to keep your selections smaller so that we aren’t digging through your whole closet haha. That will take time away from shooting, and we don’t want that! I recommend bringing 3 or 4 pairs of bottoms, 4 or 5 tops, and then maybe a few dresses, along with jewelry, accessories, jackets/hats/etc. It’s super important to keep in mind that you’ll likely be changing in your car at locations. If you’re not comfortable with that, I totally get it and you can just bring one outfit! I’ll have you text me some pictures of your outfit options and we can choose the outfit together beforehand.
02. Be mindful with your choices.
Always keep the location and weather in consideration when you’re choosing your outfits! If you wanna hike up sugarloaf, don’t wear heels and tight jeans that you can’t really move in. If we’re shooting in the fall, bring jackets and maybe a few hats/scarves. Planning a winter session? Pack lots of layers and wear thick wool socks with boots that can handle deep snow. If our location is a sandy beach, plan to not wear shoes and maybe pack towels in case you want some shots in the waves. If we’re shooting on a hot summer day, wear clothes that breathe so you don’t have sweat stains in your pictures. Basically, be as comfortable as you can be in whatever conditions we’re shooting in!
