ANSWERING ALL YOUR QUESTIONS — even the ones you didn’t know you had.
01. THE ESSENTIALS
-
Laid-back, editorial, and atmospheric.
I love letting natural moments unfold, composing them into a shot, and creating a photo that feels effortless yet intentional.
I focus on providing movement-based direction, prompting authentic connection without restricting the natural flow of the shoot.
-
I’ve been capturing portraits and chasing light for a little over 10 years now.
-
Absolutely!
I’m here to answer any questions about light, photos, what to wear, location ideas, as well as provide hands-on assistance with planning your timeline for an easy-going and smooth wedding day.
-
Number one rule of wedding planning: STAY TRUE TO YOU. Remember that this day is yours.
Secondly, focus on light. Simply put, light is your best friend on your wedding day.
Try to plan for your ceremony to take place about an hour or two before sunset, in a location with soft & even natural light on both of your faces. Try to avoid shadows and harsh light conditions, as well as busy backdrops that distract from you two.
02. THE COLLECTIONS

For weddings, this number varies depending on your coverage but typically ranges from 600-1000.
Couples sessions, engagements, and maternity galleries typically have 65-90 photos.
-
I require a signed contract and a 50% deposit. Once those two requirements are met, you’re officially in my books!
03. TRAVEL
-
Yes. Travel is one of the many things that feeds my inspiration and creative spirit. Creating in new environments is an experience that I will never turn down.
-
I have a flat rate of $800 that covers roundtrip airfare, car rental, stay, and food coverage. This rate is subject to change depending on location.
04. MISCELLANEOUS
-
Elopements are small, intimate events that don’t follow the traditional events of a wedding. An elopement is typically a ceremony in a private, intimate space with an officiant, and a handful of friends or family. My elopement packages are designed to cover the ceremony, plus any photos with guests, as well as portraits of the newlyweds.
Weddings are large, full day events that have a ceremony and reception on the same day. They typically have a large guest count and offer food, drinks, and entertainment for guests. My wedding packages are designed to cover all the events of the wedding day, with multiple opportunities for portraits of the newlyweds, as well as family portraits. Every package is intentionally designed to suit your needs and cover all of the important day-of events.

Basically, you’re asking your guests to stay present in the moment with you and your love, and not on their phone trying to film or photograph the moments.
This is something most people don’t think about until after they get their gallery back and there’s a ton of iPhones and cameras and iPads sticking up and out into the aisle, blocking out your happy faces.
Not only can it ruin the shots, it can also ruin the experience for the guests that are so focused on getting their iPhone out in time that they miss your first kiss, or have their phone on loud and get a phone call during your vows.
-
First looks are done before the ceremony, and they give you two a chance to freak out over how amazing you both look, say your vows privately (if you want to), and then relax together before the ceremony.
If you take this route with first looks, you can also take your wedding party photos before the ceremony, which will give you more time to enjoy the cocktail hour with your guests, or give you extra time for your couples portraits.
We will set aside 20-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony so that you’ll have time to relax together and just hang out as your guests arrive, and not be in a rush to get back. I’ll make sure to give you two some space so you can have a private moment together.
-
Second shooters are great for capturing all the shots that I might miss while i”m focused on you two. While I do my best to be there for every single moment on your wedding day, I’m only one person and I can’t be in two places at once.
For example, if you know you want pictures of the bridal party getting ready in one location and pictures of the groomsmen getting ready in another, then a second shooter will be a great investment!
They’re also really helpful because they help keep me completely focused on you two while they capture details like your wedding guests laughing at the bar or getting wild on the dance floor.
-
Most times, I recommend embracing all that Mother Nature has prepared for us. Beautiful photos don't require sunshine and clear skies.
Think of the beauty in wind-blown hair, falling snowflakes, and a light sprinkle of rain on a clear umbrella. All these little pieces help make your session more unique.
If it’s really coming down, and the conditions are dangerous to shoot in, then we can absolutely reschedule.
-
I’ve got you.
Just be yourselves, and trust me to guide you. Stay in the moments as we are creating them, and remember why you hired me. We got this.
